My Philosophy
There are four main beliefs that guide the way I try to live my life. These beliefs help me understand people, faith, love, and the purpose we each have in the world. We are all connected. As human beings, we are connected to one another, to animals, and to nature. Each person may follow a different spiritual path, and those paths can look different from one person to another. I believe different religions can be seen as different paths that help people find meaning, peace, and a connection to God or a higher purpose. No path has to make another person’s path wrong. We need one another, and one of the best ways to grow in life is to build stronger connections with people and with the earth. Each person is unique. Every person is one of a kind. Just like snowflakes, no two people are exactly alike. We each have our own fingerprints, DNA, eyes, voice, and heartbeat. I believe this shows how much care and purpose went into creating each of us. To me, it is beautiful to think that every person has something special that makes them different from everyone else. Love is the answer. No matter what we are facing, I believe love is the most important answer. Love helps us grow, heal, forgive, and become better people. To live a full and meaningful life, we must learn to be honest about who we are. We also need to learn how to love ourselves and believe we are worthy of the good things meant for us. Be a light. I believe each person has a light inside them that can help others. In the Bible, we are often reminded not to be afraid. Light does not have to fight darkness; it simply has to shine. In the same way, we can bring kindness, hope, love, and truth into the world by choosing to live with purpose. Just as Jesus is described as the Light of the World, I believe each of us has our own light to share. This philosophy is based on four simple beliefs: we are all connected, every person is unique, love is the most important answer, and each of us has a light to share with the world. These beliefs remind us to respect different paths, value what makes each person special, choose love and honesty, and live in a way that brings kindness, hope, and purpose to others.
